We are a family of 5 living in China since 4 years. We might live China next school year for Ho Chi Minh. I read a lot of different posts about HCM this last few days but I still have some questions.
How much does it cost to have a full time helper ?
Is it very common to have a driver ? Here in China, we don't drive because the traffic is quite crazy. It seems to me that it's about the same in Vietnam. But we don't have a driver, we use cabs most of the time. If someone can help me with the cost of a driver...

For cost of a driver : about 300 - 400 usd , working 28 days/month.
Rent a car (not include gaz) + driver : 700-800 usd/month.
Rent a house maid (full time): 200 - 500 usd.
I suggest taxi service for foreigner who lives in downtown. Foreigners often don't drive in HCM.
