Hi all.

I am Allwyn from India. I will be moving to Belgium in April 2014 with my family (Wife, 2 kids aged 11 & 9 ).

Since the company pays, if I choose to send my children to BSB in Tervuren, which area in Tervuren is practical in terms of near school, city centre, social life, sports.

Are there rental apartments in Tervuren, and is having a house better ?

I will be working in Overijse. My rental budget is 1000 Euros.

Waiting for responses and thanking you,

Regards, Allwyn.

use immoweb.be and make sure when housing is listed under 3080 Tervuren, that it's not in the villages of Duisburg or Moorsel, as they are NOT a walk to school and have less than ideal public transport.

Wezembeek-Oppem 1970 is less than 1km from school on its boundaries. Kraainem 1950 on its southern boundaries is also on 44 tram route to school.

This apartment is right in the centre of Tervuren town centre, 20 minutes walk to school and near 44 tram, sports centre, swimming pool.

Another one 2 stops on the tram from BSB. Quieter road but walkable into town. Just a little further up the road, the post code changed to Kraainem 1950.

Another one right in Tervuren town centre.

You'll find it hard to get a 3 bed house within walking distance of BSB within your budget. You'll find houses more rurally, especially in Duisburg and Moorsel, but then you'll need probably 2 cars or like cycling to school!
