Salam bro, its an alergy that most people get when eating too much chicken, either cooked in broasted or in charcoal. is this your first time in saudi arabia? anyway avoid scratching it by your fingers, use a towel. 1st if you can't avoid eating chicken at least once a week, there's lots of option like vegetables or beef. Get an advice to your company clinic for more assistance and before it gets worst. good luck.....:)

Trapezius

Allergy from chicken?  That's the first time I have heard of that.  And anyway, how do you know the OP eats too much chicken?

modjo

Yeah, why chicken? I used to get those nasty dry/itchy skin when I first got here but it went away after a while.

boredomsucks

its not my first time bro every time i came here it comes back, i remember when i went back to my country for vacation this skin disease went away, but when i came back here in saudi it starts again... and i am avoiding chicken now, it was hard because i used to eat chicken in the philippines but i dont get this scaley skin there..

modjo

I think you're allergic to KSA bro. Lol.

boredomsucks

Has it happened after a haircut.. Cause mostly these things happen after the barber has reused and old razor.. If so then a particular cream is available at the pharmacy.. Just show your problem to the pharmacist and he will give you the cream..

I also got dry skin here when i came to jubail.. Started using Nivea Moisturizer.. Some time it is due to dry skin..

Best of all.. Pls. consult a dermatologist.. they know the best..

Try to heal the problem before it grows worse.. !!

All the best !!

Trapezius

Bro no one gets a haircut on their shoulder!

But yes, go to a pharmacy and even show them the problem and tell them the symptoms.  They can give you a specific cream.  Better yet, go to a dermatologist.

The best thing is to visit a doctor rather than take advice in a forum , especially about treatment, medication etc. Visit any skin specialist and he can treat you better.

I have the same problem here in Jeddah. I lived i  Riyadh for 23 years without this problem. It is itching anywhere from my head and my arms. Whe I make a hot compression its itching thoughout in and out. I have been eating chichen for so long no change in my food. Can you advice which and where for a specialist?

Ali_N

It's dry skin and nothing else!

The only reason being that humidity is less in the KSA which leads to your skin drying resulting in itching and maybe scaly skin.

Use a good moisturizer such as SebaMed

Hope this helps!

modjo

I still can't get over chicken allergy  :D

kamalkhan510

oh ppl.... its just dryness of skin cause itch... moisturizers can do the job... Or chicken could also be moisturized before eating :p

modjo

@kamalkhan510  :dumbom: Lol.

Eryk2088
