Hi, I currently hold a permesso for study on a one year certificate course which ends mid-december and am hoping to change this to a work visa. I am from Australia. I heard that I can stay for an additional 60 days past the end of the permesso, legally. If so, am I still able to apply for a work
visa within this time under the allocations under the flow decree?

Also, do you know when the flow decree for 2014 will be announced? I am hoping that this is within the two months that i am still legally here after my permesso ends, so that I can apply (if it is possible).

Hey...I'm sorry I can't really help but I have a question, well several. First off, did you get a degree meaning did you finish school and graduated? second what is the Flow Decree 2014?
I'm here in italy and looking to get a work permit but I have a study one at the moment. I want to switch that but it seems that its not possible unless you have graduated from a school.

Hey guys
I'd love to understand more about the study visa.  Does it have to be a degree course, or can it be any sort of study (including part time).  I'm considering doing this... I am an Australian citizen.
Can this be applied for within Italy, or does it need to be from your home country?  The plan is to go to Milan on a 90 day tourist visa first.
Thanks!!

Flow decree aplies to several countries mostly from 3rd world countries. Australia definetly is not included. I understand very well if I come from one of the countries under the flow decree program & I came here to study & after my studies I can apply for work permit. If the flow decree from my country is for 100 petsons then if my application is approve they will deduct the number from 100 to 99 the allocated number. If you can find an employer, your employer will do the paper works to get you a work permit but its a long process & should be justified why they should hire you but its possible you can get a work permit.
