Registering a birth in the Virgin Islands

I'm from the Virgin Islands and my Significant Other is from France, the paper work was provided to us in the clinic, we picked up our sons birth certificate in a week, not sure if that's the norm since we had other things to do.
All you will need is your passport and money to pay for the application and to get the paper notarized, there is a notary public in the clinic so you don't have to go too far. The price of the application slips my mind at the moment but the notary public was about ten dollars.
