i like international and irish pubs, like shebeen and charlie p's. they are usually a lot of fun. if you wanna go dancing, but you don't wanna dance to electronic music, i suggest cafe leopold, chelsea, cafe jenseits and some bars around the gürtel. if you like electronic music, pratersauna is a good option. it's huge and it has a garden with a pool, but there's always an entrance fee, like 12 euros or something. museumsquartier is the place to hang out in spring and summer, they have dj's playing outside sometimes and there is a lot going on.
