Hi,

I am trying to get a job in the UAE but I believe that most of the companies don't accept people with Hep B.

I am aware that there is only 6 categories of employment are restricted to enter or work in the UAE. But I am looking for sales / retail position.

Even though the government does allow you to work in the UAE while you are a hep B carrier -- if your job doesn't belong to those 6 categories -- but I believe everyone has to undergo the Hep B test.
so the hiring company have the final decision I think and most of the big companies don't accept people are carrying hep B.

I would like to ask you if you know any company that they recruit staff with Hep B.

thank you for your help

The UAE and the other Gulf governments need to work together in changing this rule across the gulf especially on medical health discrimination and banning people just for health reasons, which is really wrong.  You don't see this in western nations and they have a low case of hep b which says a lot.

I wish the health laws on this issue was similar to the western nations.

The  6 categories of employment need to be removed or restructured.
The Hep b rules being relaxed seems to be more of a propaganda stunt.

I only hope someone higher up looks into these issues as its not a good thing.
