I'm going to work in Port Moresby but there is problem. My company is not registered in PNG but however a company in PNG has engaged my service to work there.

The service agreement is between a company to a company and not an employer-employee type of agreement.

So, I presume that I still need a work permit but how do I apply for it if i'm not been engaged by the local PNG company?

Any help on this?

Good day Mr. Tungkiong,

For better understanding of the Working Permit here in PNG, search in PNG Immigration and Citizenship Services.

The company in PNG that has engaged your services is responsible for getting you the work permit.

You need to make sure they have medical cover for you, return airfares, secure accommodation with everything paid for including power water food etc, and pay you a reasonable, after tax  salary.
