International Schools in HCMC

Some schools have increased their fees to a level comparable to long established private schools in Malaysia, Thailand, UK, Singapore and Australia.

It is difficult to understand why a boarding school in Malaysia can charge the same as a school in HCMC charges for day pupils.

Agree that the living costs in Singapore,Australia and the UK are higher than the living costs in Vietnam but can the same be said for Thailand and Malaysia?

Why are the fees increasing at over 9% per year when the average increase in the UK is less than 3% ?

Do you think it is the teachers salaries or is it something else?

What is going on?

now the vn government wont issue any permit to set up new Int'l school. only those existing int'l school can run the biz. they aware of the monopoly power in the market and expat cant bring their kid to local school. you wont have much choice in this.
