Wooden houses are not popular in Israel at all. In fact, I do not recall ever seeing one. In much of Jerusalem stone is required of new buildings. Tel Aviv buildings are mostly steel, brick, mortar.

Of the existence of wooden houses in israel must disagree with you that there is an example guesthouse Yad Hashmona is 15km from Jerusalem and is built of wood. More exactly I want to know how it is perceived such houses what people think about it. For example you buy / build a wooden house

In all the time I have lived in Israel I have never heard anybody express any interest whatever in buying or building a wooden house.
