Hi does anyone know where to buy upholstery fabric in Bali?? I have just purchased some great chairs but they are a little worse for wear and I would like to attempt to give them a make over....

I live on Lembongan the locals here don't know much about things in Bali....I was hoping an expat living in Bali might know where to go.

Jalan Sulawesi (the textile market) in Denpasar is the best place to find the fabric and as for someone to do the actual job of re-upholstering just ask at any of the numerous fabric shops there.

Upholstered furniture is not at all common here…cushions being the norm, but you'll be able to find someone up to the task. Bring photos of your chairs even if your bahasa Indonesia is pretty good.
