4th day in Riyadh...unsettled...opportunity in Al Jouf

Hi all!

I'm a Finnish-American woman in my 30's teaching English in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; my company is offering a better position in Al Jouf. I need to decide by tomorrow, 4th of April.

Help! This is my first time in Saudi Arabia though I've lived abroad and traveled extensively. Humdinger. I am interested in meeting others, 30's and up, and...also interested in professional advancement, not to mention learning Arabic. Am currently extremely frustrated with current position.

Cheers!

I have a client in Al-Jouf...its out in the wilderness!

A very small town...I suggest you visit the place before accepting the position.

Thanks! I don't know if I'll have the opportunity to visit; just how small are you talking? Any coffee shops? I believe I'd be living on a compound so at least I can swim.

By the way, my decision date was off...I'm still acclimating; I must decide this evening, the 5th of April.

Best and thanks again!

aljouf is an amazing area at least for me as i'm addicted to countryside...Al-Jouf area is distinguished by its fertilized agricultural lands with the farms of palm trees, olive and others. The region has an ancient history extends to four thousands of years, where we found monumental castles like:  Marid and Za'abal Castles as well as Omar Ibn Al-Khatab Mosque and with regard to the tourist areas, there are artificial lake that attract the tourists and monumental Museums
it has alot of farms. mmmm there are more than 13 million olive trees in the area and that more trees were being planted.

Hi there,

I've accepted a job in Al Jouf. We're looking for a good English speaking babysitter or housemaid. I've got two small kids with me. I need someone to look after them while I'm at work. Arriving September.

Would really appreciate if anyone could help us in this regard.

Thanks.

Hi sunshinem! Did you consult the Saudi Arabia classifieds> You should also post an ad there.
Good luck.

Hi, how is the rent for your house and where is it exactly please.

Hi Bluenose43,

This thread is 4 years old.
I suggest you post an advert in the Saudi Arabia housing section.
