For the ones living in Addis Ababa, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Addis Ababa, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Addis Ababa?

Set within Haile Selassies former palace and surrounded by the beautiful gardens and fountains of Addis Ababa Universitys main campus is the enthralling Ethnological Museum. Even if you are not normally a museum fan, this one is worth a bit of your time its easily one of the finest museums in Africa.
Mount Entoto Mount Entoto is the best location to observe the panoramic view of Addis Ababa both by day and night. On top of this hill stands St. Marys Church built in 1885.
