Hi,

For the ones living in Vancouver, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Vancouver, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Vancouver?

Thank you in advance for participating ;)

Hi Julie,

It really depends what time of the year are you planning on visiting. Vancouver is most glorious in the summer months.

If you have only a couple of days to visit, I would recommend, Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, Granville Island and Robson St area. That would definitely give you a "vibe" of the city, now if you are looking to try and see what the locals do, I recommend to search for all the festivals that happen during the summer, from Jazz, Folk, Pride, The Celebration of Light, there is always something for everyone.

If you come during the winter months, well, then it's all about snow sports.

I recommend you to look into the Tourism Vancouver website, there is plethora of information.

Hope this helps
