Hi I am considering an offer to work in Saudi Arabia and want my family to live in Bahrain.
We have a Nanny that we want to bring with us but I am struggling to find information on visa requirements and how we go about obtaining a visa for her.
Any advice on this or experiences of similar appreciated.

I think that your company will have to sponsor your family and nanny in Bahrain.
My husband works in Saudi and we live in Bahrain and we had to find a maid who was on a free visa (BD500) so that we didn't have to sponsor her as my husbands company are dire on things like this.
Check with HR before you do anything just to make sure.

If you want to get a housemaid, you have to request a no objection letter from your sponsor (employer). They should give you the letter which will help you get the visa. Please note that you need your sponsor's approval because the visa will be by the employer's name, so if you leave them for another employer, the visa has to be transferred in the housemaid's passport from the x-employer to the new employer.
