Hi we are family with 2 children moving to Manila in Aug. we found a place to stay already and hoping to get a domestics doing some clean up and cooking. Any idea how?

if you are moving to condominiums you can ask the front desk / management guys to refer a maid.. its very easy that way as many other residents will be already hiring maids and in less time you will get one easily. All this can happen only when you are HERE. cannot be done online alone i guess.
And the yaya's do have a big chain .. word of mouth donno but they are good at refering other yayas if they are already busy and not able to accomodate your needs.

Note: Coming from Norway i guess you will feel really hot and humidified always .. so prepare yourself to adjust with climate. Lastly we moved from Finland and felt like we were in oven in summer :d lol
