Cheap and cheerful chicken, better than KFC. Hectic, fun atmosphere waiting for your order. Shame they don't have branches all around the Kingdom :)

:one

heard rumors > they cannot handle their business if it spread all over the kingdom,

other is that they are in contract that they will be limited to only that region as if they open branches in eastern region they will affect others businss. not sure which one or neither of both is true

i met a family here in dhahran, uncle was retired from Aramco, actually i went to them to buy some furniture as they were leaving kingdom.

we sat started discussions and Al-Baik's topic came, he said we like Abu Nawas, even his daughters , one is doc in usa one is there etc and every time they talk they miss abu nawas taste, i said whats in it some times salt is too much some time bigger piece is smaller and smaller piece is bigger compare to al baik taste is as it is as started all the pieces of same size.

maybe i should start a thread on abu nawas as well :D

Nah, the reason is none of above. Google guys :) It's coz of a major brand-name conflict and thus a pact in place. They are not *allowed* to open branches in regions other than western.

Interestingly, a couple of months back many people started shipping Al-Baik to Riyadh via air for selling purposes. But who likes the stale stuff? I guess no one is doing that anymore.
