Are there any financial/work/visa restrictions for someone who wants to leave Ireland and go to live on Malta?

Thank you.

Hi Chris,

I moved to Malta in june 09 from Wexford.

No there are no work restrictions that I know of. You apply for a work permit after you secure a job. Getting the permit is a very easy process,it took me about 10mins in the local office.

Feel free to ask if you have any more questions

Hi Ella and Chris,

I wonder if you used any relocation company to move your things to Malta?

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum!

As was mentioned before, I am pretty sure there are no financial, work or visa restrictions if someone wants to move from Ireland to Malta. You will probably find a lot of useful information if you go through the various previous topics on this forum.

Good luck!
Antonio
