Hi,

I am thinking about moving to Yola to go to the American university there.

Does anyone have any opinion on this?

Do they have decent apartments to live in? Do you know the average cost?

Is it relatively safe or do people walk around with armed security?

Please inbox me or email me if you feel better chatting in private.

Hi..
Yola is a nice place to live. Its a small town. Yes they give you very good accomdation :)

afghanspirit

is accommodation super expensive?

Raparthy

no...its not..but u dont have to pay for the accomdation

Raparthy

R u going to study or work at the university?

afghanspirit

maybe. yes, thats why I would be going but i dont think i would want to live in a hostel and that is why i am asking about the accommodation

Raparthy

like how much can u afford a month for accomdation and food? It depends on tht.

afghanspirit

i can afford a lot but i dont like to spend so much.

How about 500$ for a one bedroom apartment?

Raparthy

If u can afford a lot then u should prefer the hostel inside they r good.

Raparthy

but if u want to stay outside..u cant get an apartment. but a room or a house for tht much..electricity is a problem.u need to get a generator. thats add up more.

afghanspirit

there is no electricity?

Raparthy

Well not much.u may get electricity for like 5 hrs. U to have run on generators most of the times.and internet not stable...if u live outside.

Where as if u live in the hostel.electricity& internet are available 24 hours.

afghanspirit

the thing is...i am married and a kid on the way...i cant live in a hostel because i have to live with them. :)

Raparthy

There r no good hospital facitlities :(
