If your looking for an amazing afternoon, open air, lounge/bar, then you should probably head towards Jumeirah Beach Hotel, which is right next to Burj Al Arab. They have this place, that is right at the beach, amazing food and cocktails and a great place to take photos !

You can go to the One and Only on JBR, the have a lounge called Jetty.
Also the Hilton in JBR has a nice bar on the beach, Beachweaver.
The new opened Cafe del Mar is close by in the Maydan Beach club.
On the palm you have now several new Hotels opened which have all lounges open air overlooking beach and sea, Rixos, Atlantis (fav nasimi Beach), One and Only or Jumeirah on the palm.
