Hi Guys,

Sorry to burden you with more questions!!

As you may have seen on a previous post I am arriving in Kuwait next week. You would have also noted that my wife will be joining me in July.

My new company has generously agreed to pay for all moving costs from the UK but obviously this can only happen when my wife joins me.

Therefore, as somebody who is not known to travel light,I will obviously have excess baggage when I travel next week.

Anybody got any ideas, apart from travel light, how to avoid excessive chargers?

I am flying with Qatar Airways.

Best option is to join Qatar's frequent flier programme, and they will immediately upgrade you with 30kgs of luggage if i'm not mistaken. Assume 30kgs of stuff is enough to see you through until your shipment arrives... though naturally you may need a washing machine.. and get other basic stuff locally as will be much cheaper and will find everything here;)
