Hi

We are currently looking into relocating a small company that is essentially an online sales company. We are currently located in Seychelles in the free trade zone but due to various reasons need to make a move.

One thing I am trying to find out is the customs rules on re-export and drawbacks/refunds. Meaning we need to stock our products in country and then when getting orders to ship directly to clients via the postal system.

So two questions:
1. How good is the local postal system.
2. Does anyone know if customs give refunds/drawbacks on duties paid on imported goods if they are re-exported? Otherwise anyone have a local customs contact?

THis we would obviously find out ourselves but our exit from current country was not planned and thus in a major hurry..

Any help would be appreciated.

THanks

Hallo,

there are some restrictions here in Montenegro, for example paypal still do not work here.
I can give you contact of a friend of mine, he is running small shipping company and they are doing export-import paperwork.

Hello there,
The best is probably to ask the Customs ("Uprava Carina") directly!
Here are the contacts:
http://www.upravacarina.gov.me/kontakt
Also, here is a useful link, the custom tarifs if you can manage with the local language: http://taric.carina.co.me/TariCG/public/Sections.jsp
Good luck,
Carine
