It very much depends on your risk tolerance, limited maturity or open ended and the amount to be deposited. Generally speaking, you would be looking in the range of 2.8-7% before tax ( 10% on income from deposits ). Higher credit rating bank would offer 2.8-4.5% at its best, high risk bank ( like the greek ones ) would go further. If the amount is larger, you can sit down and negotiate with the banker, they do bend the interest curve a bit
