Hi all,
I am new to this expat forum. Thank you all for the information in forums and blog content which is indeed really very helpful. I am a post graduate in civil/structural engineering from India with 4 years of experience.I have been offered a basic salary package of 650BD + family acco. + medical + insurance (transportation included)by a bahrain mnc firm located in manama. I am single presently.I want to know from all expats about the offer.

I believe the package you have been offered is a bit low. Although the allowances are good, you can easily push for a 1,000BD.

Hi sri,
The Package the company offered to you is 90% good as the living expense in Bahrain is low and social life is much better than any other GCC countries. But you can push for BD800/-+family accomodation and other benefits. Make sure that the company offers you two way ticket every year. People are much good and friendly. And it is good to build a good career out here.
