Hello,

I have just joined, but have been visiting the Ecuador expat forum here for a little while. Lots of great information and blogs. Thanks for those living their lives out-loud for us to read about and learn from.

We are interested in a coastal/beach property. Does anyone have any recommendations on a real estate agent or property management company you can recommend? Without having a trusted person in Ecuador, I'm very concerned about getting scammed.

Appreciate any help offered and hope everyone is enjoying life.

Be very careful. There are alot of people, especially gringos, that want to part you with your money. The best way to find someone is to visit Ecuador, find the area you love then make contacts with the people living in that area. You can then see what people have paid and meet new friends that can help. Here is how we did it. http://www.atruetalltale.wordpress.com

Hi Kyle,

There is a new developement that is due to start construction mid April called Las Olas. It has beach front and is located between Bahia and San Clemente.You should be able to find it doing a google search.
