My grandparents live in Mendoza. I would like to arrange to have internet set up at their home so we can connect online to chat and skype. Where do I begin? What are the reputable internet service providers in Mendoza? Will I be able to make the arrangements from here (in the USA)? Thank you for any helpful information you can provide!

I use supercanal.com.ar now in Godoy Cruz near the center of Mendoza. It's TV cable, but I only have them for Internet. It's less than $20 USD.

Last year past I also had a Direct TV wiMax type service that was quick and easy to install. I believe they will only install with full DTV television subscription.

They both are slow compared to other places in the world. ~2MG. Still waiting for Fibertel which is available in the rest of the country. cablevisionfibertel.com.ar

When I lived in the MZA center, I had ITC itcsa.net.ar which was faster and more reliable. Expensive and not available in many places.
