I had usually good experiences with Viettel in Hanoi.
In Saigon I met the PA Vietnam.. Wish I had never seen them..
Today their server was down at least 2 times, they dont answer through the online help desk. Furthermore they use an old version and facility poor (basic) Parallels Plesk Panel (9.o) instead of the recent 11.0 edition.
When my Vnese colleague called them asking the problem they say we should write an email to them. Ridiculous company. Oh, I almost forget - they even not the cheapest one.
Does anybody have any experience with them? Or which is the trustful one here?

VietNam is the last place for hosting, poor connections - the sea cables have been down more times in the last two years than I have fingers. Even VNese don't like hosting here.
My employer hosts in HK, TW and CA. We own our CA server. We use USA for chat-rooms for legal reasons.
Use a freebie without banners.

I already suggested to the partner to host from the US but he wanted to use this service. Sucks.
I dont think that cables under the sea plays in this case: hosting located in SG, we are also in SG.
You are right, and even hosting outside VN is cheaper, better service.

How about FPT - they are one of the better ones in VN.
The only thing you need to be careful of here are the Ministry registrations - leave that up to your partner, but warn him.

Our own sites are under Viettel, servers located in Hanoi, they work fine, in case of problem they r ready to help, answer emails even in English, etc.
e.g. www.demsaigon.vnwww.demhanoi.vn ecowboy.hu (!)

Tks, i tell this one too to the partner.
On the North the Vnese hosting was almost okay (80-90%), here must be better a bit, but it is not the PA.
