I'm planning to go to either Brighton or Hampshire for a 5 month internship (Leonardo Program).
So I would like to know what do you think about these cities?
Are they safe places?
I am a french muslim girl,I wear hijab, is it a problem to wear it in these places ?

It is absolutely not a problem to wear Hijab in Brighton. Brighton is one of the most liberal cities you will come across in the UK, and there are hundreds, maybe thousands of muslim students coming to Brighton to learn English.
I can assure you will feel comfortable and welcomed in Brighton. Enjoy!

I would advise Brighton but try looking for this Leonard programme in another city such as Manchester or someone in London as i have read about many Racist attacks against Arabs.... and i would strongly advise not to go out after it's dark or even 8pm as many people get drunk and then all hell breaks loose....
However if you have good accommodation and research your area well and know where all your amenities are - then i'm sure you will be fine... just be careful.... personally i would discourage you from studying here unless you have a friend to accompany you...
