Looking for a accomodation

Depending on what kind of accommodation you want and how much time you have for the search, you can check classified sites (e.g. quoka.de and kijiji.de) or engage a property agent (for a fee, of course). I can recommend an agent if you need (send me a PM, I don't want to advertise him here).
In any case, you have to be here for your house-hunting, as German landlords are very conservative and will never agree to rent to you without having seen and interviewed you.
It is therefore a good idea to arrange temporary accommodation for a month or two at the beginning, until you find a permanent place. (I can also send you some pointers on temporary housing, again by PM.)
