anybody know of any good places to bring in 2013? moving to puerto rico Dec 29th, so we wont have alot of time to find anything. thanks.

Can't recommend a specific place. But I'd suggest staying away from densely populated metropolitan areas. A lot of people like to shoot off guns in the air at midnight. Invariably there are some casualties as a result every year.
Personally I'd opt for a small more intimate spot out of the way in a sparsely populated area. Since you are an American, Rincon on the west coast would be a good option. They have a lot of good nightclubs/restaurants there and there is a higher concentration of Americans. Best of luck to you.

Go to www.elcoquiofrincon.com. They have a monthly online newspaper and it has a great list of places to go to celebrate the new year. And places to stay. Reserve early. The holiday season is already in full swing in PR so places to celebrate and stay are going fast. Have fun. If you go, don't miss their world class sunsets. You might even catch sight of a whale breaching offshore.
