Counceling about crimes

I would like to get counsel about crime in which I'm involved.
If you know a counselling center or something like that for foreigners or especially Japanese, I would like you to tell it me!

Thanks.

You should seek advice from your consulate.

The Japanese Consulate - TpHCM

You should also stop posting/writing about it here!

I hope it's nothing serious.  Don't you have any friends with whom you could speak to about your problem?

I know that there are university students that are studying the law who read this forum regularly.  Maybe they could offer advice?

Good luck.

Your English is not very explicit. Likely there are cultural concerns involved.

You have two or three immediate sources of assistance. As the other poster suggested < http://www.hcmcgj.vn.emb-japan.go.jp/index_j.htm >.

The Consulate address is:

Consulate General of Japan in HCM City
261 Điện Biên Phủ, Quận 3 (near Hai Ba Trung)
TP. Hồ Chí Minh
Tel: +84-8-3933-3510

The other is your employer.

A third source is any hotel where you know Japanese stay and they have Japanese speaking staff.

HOTEL NIKKO SAIGON
235 Nguyen Van Cu Street
District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
Tel: (+84.8) 3925.7777

Just ask to speak to a manager.

The hotel and the consulate contacts are best (consulate closed) as they deal with all sorts of incidents.

Hi Yu,
Are you looking for advice on how not to be scam in the city?
Or did you get scammed/robbed/snatched already?

Crime is going up lately, and it will get worst near the Tet holidays...what a shame...
Favorite targets are women and Japanese tourists...
Anyways the Japanese community is big in HCM, they could help you with that... I hangout with a lot of them...
Send me a message and I'll hook u up..
What kind of consulting are you looking for?

hi all,

thanks for your prompt replies.
I didn't intend to describe about the crime on me,
I already spoke to my colleague, friends, and consulate general of Japan,

The consulate advised me to go to police, but no more than that.
What I want to or should do is to look for any other helpful information about what I should do or someone who gives it to me.

Thank you for your help, Teacher Mark, Jaitch, Saigonizer.

f you do go to the police, take a translator with you.

It would also help to put your complaint n writing. Google translate does an OK job of translation.

The police station would be the main Cong An station in the ward where the incident happened. Most every store has the ward name or number written on it.

Check your messages, if you haven't already.  I've sent you the contact information for 2 women that I know, who may be able to offer qualified advice.
