Moving from Nigeria to Angola - Accommodation - New Life etc.

Hi,

My name is Andreas and I will move soon to Luanda since I signed my contract with a new company.
I am a german and still living in Nigeria. I've heard about the difficulties to get accommodation with a feasable rent.

Which areas would you suggest to live and which are to avoid as an expatriate!?

I have a Rottweiler accompanying me. Are there any issues with landlords if I come with my "little" friend?

I do not know  from personal experience ,because I left mine back home.But I have friends which comes here with dog.
Even nobody ask for his medical,but they'll ask for you yellow fever.

Thanks, I am ok with all vaccinations, and the dog as well. I am just about to arrange all import documents and my company assist me very well.

What about accommodations? Any experience?

accommodation I believe your company will assist you very well, as well.
an 3 bedroom hose with 500 square meters land  ,electricity and  water will cost somewhere 10k$/month, rent to be paid 2 years in advance within Talatona=Luanda Sul.
It is second most expensive city in the world ,after Tokyo.
