Fristly I would like to mention the speak Dutch in Ghent not french so i cant help you with a french class. However they are many expats meets on the facebook group

I'm a Canadian here in Ghent tho....so if you want some friendly company, happy to meet up. Always looking for my own friends away from my partner...nice to have a chat with someone from home. Vancouverite here.

How are you doing? My name is Vera, I moved from UK to Belgium more than two months ago and would like to meet some new people to go out with or have a nice chat over coffee. I am gonna start attending Dutch lessons in Ghent in three weeks but I have not explored the city yet
