Psychiatrist Recommendation

I may have to move to Riyadh for work. Can anyone tell me how the privacy laws work in relationship to medicine? (TBH, I'd rather my employer not know, so I'd probably have to do it without insurance, because my insurer will probably tell my employer.) How much will seeing a psychiatrist cost with and without insurance? I'll be seeing them for ADHD, so can anyone give me a recommendation for a female physician and give me an idea about what to expect for the procedure, price, etc.? Finally, does anyone have any recommendations for an English-speaking female doctor?

Thanks!

Aurélie

hello grace, you will find plenty of english speaking female doctors. the charges depends on the type of hospitals you are visiting. clinics usually charge from 25 - 50 SR. specialized hospital charges from 100 - 200.

Consulting clinics (part of Kingdom Hospitals Group) has an experienced female psychiatrist. Psychiatrist consultations are generally not covered under insurance anyways, so you will have to pay between SAR 400 - 700 per visit. Someone I know used to pay SAR 600 for each visit to Dr. Jamal at consulting clinics.
