Rent short board

I will be moving to Stavanger this weekend and love to surf.
I have been trying desparately to find out if any one rents a real short board (i.e. not a soft, beginner, or NSP, etc).  All the websites (Bore surf school, Sentrum, etc) have not responded with any specifics. I typically ride something like a 5'-11" to 6'-4" Channel Island Flyer or Motorboat too.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. To carry my board on my flight will cost $285, and to ship will be 5 weeks.  I don't want to miss any surf.
