Hi there,

Today I am a bit confused.... M'y husband was told by the compagny who is specialised for getting the visa ( this is a private compagny and not the KSA Embassy)That his wife ( me) cań.t Côme in the same Time and Only CAN get m'y visa once hé get the Iqama!!!!!!!!!!

They told him that if we want to go it in the same Time I have to get a Business Visa sent from the compagny in KSA ( à fake contract) saying that I.am going for a training périod and once in KSA after that m'y husband gets is Iqama thén go 2 days for exemple to QATAR AND GET Back to KSA and finally I.ll get m'y VISA.

Your thoughts and Expériences???????

Thank you in advance

Myriam

Wives/families almost always have to wait until their hubby gets his iqama because then HE sponsors them.  Understand?  The company sponsors him and then he sponsors you.

Hi Myriam,

I understand what are you going through, I am in the same situation.
Seems it's the case with everyone who gets a job in Riyadh, family can't come in the same time with them. There's family visa needed, and your husband can get it after he gets his iqama. Well, that's how it has to be. All you need is patience and hope it won't take long.

Traditionally you will not be allowed to come until the 90 day probationary period. be thankful for anything else

gmalou1

I thought it was funny, too.  "you gays your wives" would have to  to refer to a same-sex marriage and I am quite convinced that's a big NO-NO in Saudia

We have a saying in the West:  absence makes the heart grow fonder.  Think of it this way.

I know an Australian couple, the hubby was SO happy when his wife finally got here that he'd do anything she wanted, and that included a BIG expensive lobster dinner the night of her arrival  (almost made me wish I was still married.  I said almost lol)
