Hi I'm planning to apply dependant visa for my son 21 yrs old, under Malaysia law is he legally can work in the local company?

18 I thought was age of majority? Is for joint nationals. As far as I understand it no, but check with immigration as some relaxation of rules have occurred. He certainly can't study as he will need a student visa. Also his chance of convincing an employer even if immigration says yes is weak. I know another old Malaysian forum was doing a study on this for spouses. Employers and many immigration officials don't know the rules! Certainly spouses of malaysians have to explain a lot as employers don't know they can employ them now
