I have been to a few places here in Ceiba, and each hotels and resorts has different things. Please name 5 good things that you know and 5 bad things from each place you have stayed.

Villas Pico Bonito (up the Cangrejal river in La Ceiba)is very nice and tropical, Great for a few hours or a long weekend. Richard the owner is a fun and interesting guy. Food is all cooked on a grill. The only thing negative is a bumpy dirt raod but once your there..... all worth it !!

I have been there and it is a beautiful place, but the thing is if you dont have a car, or some type of transportation you will be stock up there. Most Taxi will charge you a fortune to go there and if it start raining you are really in trouble. But I do recommend everyone to go there, the view , the food and the pool are excellent.
