Milan is the Shopping capital of Europe!!! There are many many different shopping areas.
Montenapolione and Via Della Spiga are the main areas for designers and their flagship stores, then there is San babila ( near the Duomo) for all your highs treet stores and department. Via Torino for more high street stores and Corso Buenos Aries for a nice combination of different shops.
I think Milan feels like a European New York im sure you will love it.
