Hi Expats of Shanghai, I am an Indian, looking to find friends

Hi All,
I entered shanghai two months before. Just this week I came to know about Expat.com through my new friend I met in my mandarin class. Really I am trying to learn Mandarin. Thanks to my HR who arranged mandarin class and my new friend for introducing Expat.com.
I am lonely (really alone) and staying in residence inside my factroy. What you imagine is correct. It feels like I am standing behind the bars in weekends.

I am willing to(I have to, otherwise I will become mad because of lonelyness) get new friends in shanghai who can speak English. Because it is the only language I know other then my mother tongue Tamil.

I am planning to move out from factory residence and live in Flats from 01Oct2012. Still I need a flat mate. Anyone who is interested please message me. I am looking to stay around sub way line 5 or Line 8 or Line 1. in Pudong area.
