Buying Fresh Fish

Dear Expats in Atyrau,

I would like to buy fresh sea fish like Salmon or Tilapia. Is there any place in Atyrau where I can buy fresh fish.  I saw some fish being sold in Ideal Supermarket.  But they are river fish.  Can some one guide me.

You can try Ramstore, they usually (not all the time) have frozen sea fish.

Sorry, I didn't notice that. You don't have much chance to find fresh sea fish in Atyrau.

idd, hardly any fresh fish available in Atyrau. If you want to try local fish I was told to ask for 'soedak' or 'zazhan' (don't know about the spelling). These two seem to be ok to eat, not to many bones etc.
