Hello there.
I need a referral to have my Canon DSLR checked out.
It just... stopped... working.
Batteries are charged up fine, but I can't get it to turn on.
Anyone know of any good, reliable, Canon-specific camera shops in HCMC that can take a look at this for me?
And then, once repaired, anyone interested in some photography safaris in and around the city?

Hi Mathew!! Why don't you take a look at those shops along Huynh Thuc Khang st D1. They are professional in Cameras.
I don't mind being a model in front of your camera 
. haaaaa... jk

In Le Loi just before you get to the tax centre there's an arcade on the right. On the left hand side near the back a guy specialises in Canon repair.

ALL the major Japanese camera manufacturers have repair centres. Sony has about 5 scattered across town.
