cost of living is less but so are the average salaries. don't be fooled by thinking it's easier as people will tell you this. Certain things cost the same as the US but others aren't. It really depends on what you are buying and how much of it. Food can get costly depending on where you shop and what you buy. That goes for everything else here as well. Life isn't cheap here but the salaries are.
