Salinas: monthly budget?

Hello everybody!:)

Would be very interesting to know what the current cost of living in Salinas (or any other relatively large coastal city for that matter) is.

    Accommodation prices:
•    Rent - per month for a newer 1 bedroom furnished apartment or condo in a “good” location (going to rent for about 6 months before buying).
•    Purchase - for a newer 1 bedroom furnished condo in a “good” location.

    Public transportation fares (taxi, bus)

    Groceries (per month, how much does it cost for a single person, nothing extravagant, including meats, vegetables, fruits)

    Health prices (medical insurance, GP visits, lab services)

    Energy prices (electricity, natural gas)

    Common bills (High-speed Internet, cable/sat TV, telephone, tap water, garbage removal)

    Prices of a day-to-day menu in a traditional restaurant

    Miscellaneous

    How would you estimate the current rate of inflation in Ecuador?

Please do not hesitate to add items to this list!

Thanks in advance for your participation!!

Thank you Aurélie!:)

Before posting I checked the suggested thread and found it quite informative and the only reason for my post is to collect current information for particular locations, if possible.
