Reasonable pay for a college instructor?

I'm trying to get a good idea of what is a reasonable salary for a college instructor teaching lower level classes. I'm mulling an offer that seems on the low end (though it does come with a furnished place), but I want to compare it with unbiased opinions.

Also, does anyone know what the tax implication would be if I came back to the United States for 60 days a year?

I'll clarify. I have 3 1/2 years experience. The offer is basically $68,500 USD, plus 1,000 riyals per month for transportation. Full benefits from the U.S. institution plus health benefits from Qatar (the U.S. institution would be my employer). Flight to and from (of course), plus one flight home per year (in June). Furnished home, tuition for family when they come over (I understand it's at least three months to sponsor family members). Transport to and from campus.
