How many books did you read in Riyadh?

I would guess if people are busy reading EB the whole time they don't leave much spare time for book reading

I don't read all that much but have gotton hooked onto Janet Evanovich and her Stephanie Plum series, they are laugh out loud reads

Well, come ON.. you know I'm one!!

I average a book a month (from re-reading classics like Animal Farm to current like Eat Pray Love).  I also do a lot of online reading to keep up with current events (Time Magazine online, BBC, Arab News, etc.).

two so far, very promising . I'm challenging myself to get 100 readers (Riyadh residents) by the end of this month (June,2012). Please spread the thread lol

p.s: Eat Pray Love (both the book and the movie) are my fav

I skipped the movie because I thought the whole thing would be handled in a trite way to appeal to mass consumption.  But I was just home and while perusing a used-book store (yes, one of my favorite activities and yes, on my annual leave lol) I saw the novel for a buck so figured, why not?  I'm only to the second part (India) so far but it's a good read, introspective as well as entertaining.

indeed, the second part is by all means the best , totally agree, and it comes like a big relief after Europe's struggle

Are we talking about any kind of book or just best sellers and such? I like to mix things, I tend to read ebooks regarding things I wanna know, like codes, self help, emag, DIY and tutorials. I have tons of ebooks that's why I decided to buy a tablet just for that purpose only. I avarage 1 topic a week.

haha yeah, im not sharing my subject matter, but it spans everything.  almost none best sellers except one of the recent ones i read

I read at least one book every month, currently I am reading "Dilemmas of Leadership"

Yeah I have. Google ebooks+free+download, and this website comes up.

I've downloaded many books from gutenberg. Oh I loved books, until internet really became cheap

You might like H.G. Wells, Dave .. a science fiction writer.  His stuff is really good.
