What documents are required to open a personal saving bank account in Budapest particularly in Citibank?
Any advise on this please.

I suspect from the following list, all or most are required:

Non-EU:

Passport
Other forms of ID like driving licence
Residence Permit and/or visa
Apartment/House Rental Contract
Employment Contract

EU:

Passport
ID like a driving licence
Some form of proof of address

Hello!

We are EU-citizens and we just went to the bank office Citibank Oktogon where they have english speaking staff and brought our passports. You need to have an address in Budapest where they send your debit card to.
