Dear experts, I need your guidance I have been working in a local bank for one year, I got another good opportunity in other bank. Kindly tell me if I can be given a transfer?

I need your help to make right decision.

Basic Question: How many years of contract have you signed with them?

If the contract is for 1 year, you may inform them officialy that you are not interested in renewing it. If the contract is for 2 or more years, read through the termination clause.

Dear LegendLeads your assistance is highly appreciated, You are always there to answer any technical/legal questions many thanks,
Infact the contract was only for one year and it was expired last week but last week they asked me to sign for another one year, In this situation what I can do, the other employer is offering me better position and salary and I want to move also for better environment.
In the contract there is no termination clause only it is mentioned if I resign before probationary period I will have to pay their hiring cost but nothing mentioned after probationary.
Shall appreciate you guidance.

My pleasure @Regza12 :)

Well, your contract has expired and legally you reserve the right to let them know that you're not interested in renewing it (as I said earlier as well).

Your best bet is to:

1- Go ahead and get the offer letter from the new employer.

2- Ask your current employer about the appraisal (monetary and other benefits) in the contract they are planning to offer you.

3- If the offers from step1 and step2 above are very different and you really have been longing for a better environment & career path, make your mind to say adieus to your current employer.

4- Let the current employer know of the intensions of not being interested in continuing.

5- If you feel appropriate let them know that you've got a better offer. You may show them the offer letter you got in step1.

6. Your current employer may offer you better options. That's a sensitive thing. You've to play the negotiations game right. Don't do if you don't feel confident.

7. If you don't reach an agreement acceptable to both parties, they'll do one of these two things.

8-a. They'll allow you to go to the new employer. Now is the time to get to the new company and sign the contract.

8-b. If your current company is the one who brought you into the country through THEIR visa, they may ask you to pack-up and go home. If you were locally hired, you are on a much safer & stronger position.

I hope this helps. All the Best & do keep us posted.

Dear LegendLeads, many thanks for covering almost all aspects. Just would like to explain as I mentined above last week I was call to sign the contract and I signed it.
Now in this situation If they don't give me transfer and ask me pack up can i come back immediately after stamping visa from my home country. One more thing shall i ask my new employer to apply for my new visa and then I start the process with my currenct employers, can I be issued two visas at the same time from different cities?

Yes, you can. The NoC [No Objection certificate] requirement was eliminated long time back.
But do collect your experience certificate before you leave. It will help in future.

Yes, you can ask them to start the process of issuing new visa so that you could travel with the 'yellow' paper along. I have seen many people doing that.
