Iqama Transfer

Sir,

I need your advice, I am currently working as an admin assistant, a supplied manpower. This is the story. I Am hired by Company A on July 2010. They supplied me to company B. after 2 years on July 2012, I renewed my contract for another 2 years.(Did not signed anything for the 2nd contract). On July 2014 my contract will be completed (4 years), I filed an exit and i guess my employer will agree to that. But the company B where I was supplied was planning to re hire me but they require me to return under the sponsorship of company C.

Question: Is there any right for the the company A to bother or to file a case if i go back to KSA under the sponsorship of company C supplied to company B?

If your signed contract with company A is expired then u can can either demand for release or you can go to exit there is no legal issue if you come back on new visa by coompany C. U can also ask company B to support u in getting release from company A as u will continue ur work with B.

My Iqama is under transfer process; as my new company already submitted the required documents at the labour office last week; when i checked the status, it shows as under study; could you plz tell me what it means? how long it will take to complete the process...

I have submitted the release letter from previous company (a govt company) and two letters addressed to labour office and passport office, respectively plus my iqama n passport.

Is there any thing required in addition to that? how about the payment for transfer, wen it is to be paid?

This means your transfer is under process and usually this takes a max period of two weeks. Check in a week.

Its possible, provided you have engineering degree attested from Saudi Embassy in your home country and after registering with SCE , you can apply for profession change.

I have also experience transferring my Iqama to other company, but I didn't pay the Saudi Government.
Its just my previous employer ask payment for the cost they incurred on hiring me from my home country.

Its still the same status as "Under Study" since last 12 or 13 days, When I asked my new company, they told that everything from their side already finished at labour office and ask my previous company, which is a govt (NGHA), to approve the request.

When I called the concerned person in the previous company, he told me that you just wait, the ministry will approve it, as NGHA already released you; But as per the release letter from NGHA, they mentioned that the transfer should be done within 2 months,

Could you pls inform me, this delay is apart of the process and since we already submitted the required documents including the approved release letter, they ll count the 2 months period again or it is just for submission???

The process of transfer should not take more than 2 weeks with the labor office / jawazat. But some times delays can happen from the side of employers, not giving the online release, not making the necessary request in system to transfer the employee, not filing the proper application there, not paying the money online for transfer in time etc etc , there could be lot of reasons why there has been a delay. All what we can hope is that they do their job and the transfer gets done fast. Follow up on a weekly basis with your new employer and hopefully this will be done soon.

Did your previous company gives you a Release Letter? it should be written in English and in Arabic.

I got release letter and letters to Jawazath, Labour Office respectively, duly approved from the previous company; It was in Arabic, not in English. I hope that that is sufficient.

In addition to that, any thing to be done by my previous company??

I was working in Riyadh and I found new employer from Khobar. I secured the Demand Letter from my new company. when I submit the Demand Letter to my previous company, they give me my passport and a Release Letter. I personally have it stamped. I started immediately to the new company, I still used the Iqama from my previous employer for it still have four months expiration,

One month salary was deducted on my separation fee, its the amount that my previous company have expended when they hired from my country.

I don't see any problem or any reason for your delay. Maybe, your previous company really don't want you to leave.

If they still need me or dont want to release me, how they can give me the release letter? ??
After getting the approved release letter, should my previous company do anything else?? Or its just a matter of follow up from my new company? ??

my question is I came on free visa January 24th 2013...I transfer from kafil to company A...on July 2nd 2013...now it is been a year so I want a release from the company A...so do you think I can take transfer..or I have to work here minumum 2 years. is there any kind of rule.

my question is if company A wants to stop me can I go legally to take release from this company.

I contacted with the Expeditor of new company, he told that your request for transfer is pending for approval at Makthabul Amal, so inform your previous comapany to send their expeditor to Makthabul Amal to approve the request, since they (NGHA, Govt) are not using the online service portal.

So I just would like to clarify from you that is this correct??, as we have already submitted the previous company's release letter, still they need to approve at Makthabul Amal again??? in such case, what I should do from my side??

Yes, some companies are still not using the online system and needs to do this the old way by sending a rep to the labor office. You need to speak to your old sponsor and ask them to resolve this for you.

Today there is a new update on my transfer status as it is showing "your transfer request has been denied, your current sponsor is (my new company name) in MOI. "Not yet approved" in MOL. So what it means??

It is showing my new company as my present company; but request denied...So what is this??

Dear Sir/Mam,
             I came from India and came here for the position of marketing coordinator, and when I reached here then I find the salary which they offered me is very less and for food as well. As there is no any value to be here if wanted to earn money by leaving my Family. If you have any job option and if you can offer then I will speak to my MD. Also here I can see there is some misunderstanding between the employees of this Co.

Most probably due to non renewal of CR or some other issue for the new company. Let the new company rep who is taking your transfer approach the labor office to sort this out.

I have been living in ksa since childhood and was obviously under father's sponsor now i graduated as an engineer and submitted my papers to a company for iqama transfer....
they have done ministry of labor and my status is seen on mol website with the new employer.
BUT THE PROBLEM IS ... iqama got stuck in the jawazat, company saying it is for those ppl who are transfering from father sponsoship to company .... company to company transfer is done in days.

its been a month man! can you have any regarding info

I can understand the moment you are going thro.
My case is similar to yours , but still "under study" . New employer made the 3rd request but old employer not able to get an opportunity to approve electronically. With Ramadaan holidays, things are delayed more.
Is your transfer is complete?
How long it took complete it?
My employer is asking me to sit at home till the transfer is complete..so more frustration..Kindly reply

My previous employer  was asking 20 thousand riyals for my transfer iqama, It is too much. Do I have any option to make  it lesser? Do I need to go to our POLO/Owwa/ Embassy for some assistance? Or it is between my previous employer and my new employer? What legal action I will do to transfer my normal Iqama to another employer?

I am just about to complete my transfer and my previous research including visit to Dammam labor ministry for advise on obtaining transfer , is fully left to your present sponsor..!
Unfortunately ONLY God can look at this injustices for this exploitation.
So you may only gently negotiate and request for reduction. No legal means...unfortunately.
Other option is to EXIT and return back .

Its still under processing, I am still waiting for the same; but actually in my case, it is delayed mainly due to the laziness of the Co.Mandhoob; Now atleast I can relieve that our co. Chairman himself called the Mandhoob n warned about the issue, so now Mgt is taking care of this, I hope it will be done soon.

How my husband here can change my iqama under his name,means to say I change my sponsorship ?we have rights to do that even my sponsor never allow me? We have a nikah and I'm I'm working as a maid.

Is is possible to return back to the company from where I transfered my visa with remaining 3 salaries of New company.

Sir, I worked for a company 4 years and 6 month.After I transfered to another company. where I submitt my passport and Iqama and sign the agreement in June. New company provide me iqama in Sep 8 , 2014 . whenever I try to get back my passport The personal Manager told me" You will get Salary for these month" During the period I received only one salary of June , Other Salaries are still pending and possible that I will not get.Now I want to go back to another company or in my previous company with the remaining salaries of July August and September.Please Provide the possible suggestions and Help.

Dear Sir:

I just finished my contract for two years with my company and told me to resign and complied willfully for which I have until this October 31 to work with them.

My kids are here with me under my iqama. But my wife was able to work as a nurse specialist in one of the government hospitals here in Jeddah.

I cannot go exit as what I have read in one of your blogs coz I still have dues from my existing bank loan.

What is my option? can I transfer to my wife's sponsorship as here dependents with my kids who are still studying here,  so we dont have to go home in my country and leave my wife here.

I do have offers here but I cannot work with them because my iqama is non transferable.

Please give me advise,

In cases where employer is not using the online system, transfer will be done via the old method, where in your new employers PRO / GR guy can take the papers to Jawazat and do the transfer. There were cases where it worked and there were cases where the guy was send back quoting no acceptance from previous sponsor online. But since this is Govt in your case this might work without online acceptance, try and see.

Iqama can be transfered any number of times, there is no restriction on that. The fees will change of course from 2000 for first time, 4000 for second time and 6000 for third time onwards for any number of times.

I'm 5 times already. 
As per the old regulation it us 3 only, but this is no longer applicable in KSA.
