We invite all the ones who got married in Papua New Guinea or who are about to get married in Papua New Guinea to participate in this thread 
What are the formalities to get married in Papua New Guinea? Is it the same for a couple of foreigners of for a mixed couple (between a foreigner and a native of Papua New Guinea)?
Are the procedures complicated?
How long does it take to carry out all the formalities?

Can I marry some on in png if I do have with me a Fijian marriage certificate ?

If you have a certificate stating you are married to someone else in another country then you cannot get married in PNG.
